Wonder Donut Number 2 isn't a franchise. We aren't a chain that ships frozen dough in from somewhere else. We're right here on Sylvania Avenue, and every morning we show up before the sun to make donuts the way they're supposed to be made — by hand, in small batches, with actual ingredients.

Our customers aren't strangers. We know who takes their coffee black, who always orders two glazed and a chocolate, and who pulls into the parking lot on Friday mornings with a crew full of high school athletes. That's the kind of place we're trying to run.

Some people drive 30 minutes for our coffee. Don't tell them we said so — but we'll keep it between us.
